Hello! My name is Georgia, and I am a medical student in San Francisco, California, U.S. I am passionate about the human side of medicine, and hope to address health care disparities during my career. I studied anthropology when I was in college, so I am especially interested in the intersection of culture, biology, and human health. When I am not studying or in classes, I love to cook, bake, garden, run, go to concerts, and explore new places. I have also recently been making DIY projects for my apartment. During college, I studied in Córdoba, Spain for 4 months, so my Spanish is pretty good (but not perfect!). Some of my favorite places that I have travelled include Colombia, Portugal, and Amsterdam.

Favorite books include Beloved by Toni Morrison, The Secret History by Donna Tart, anything by Khaled Hosseini, Tuesdays with Morrie, and Being Mortal by Atul Gawande. I love movies and TV shows, so I am always looking for new recommendations! Avatar the Last Airbender, Elite, Love Island, and West World are some of my favorites. For music, I tend to go for indie rock/EDM, but I listen to everything!
