About Me

I am Melbournian travelling around the world and am interested in meeting locals through couchsurfing. I am a friendly, considerate and curious person who is constantly trying to escape Melbourne whenever not studying. I love crafting or craft beer, I am easy whichever. I am vegetarian, have designed my own tarot cards and cannot touch my toes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it is an amazing idea and really appreciate that people are willing to share their homes and comforts with complete strangers. I love the idea of meeting the locals and seeing a city or town from their perspective and not that of tripadvisor or some other travel blog. When I return back to Australia after my travels I am definitely thinking of hosting as a thank you to the people who did it for me.

Interests

Interested in pretty much anything from hiking, beaching and sightseeing to books, TV shows and video games. I am always interested in having few drinks with friends, listening to live music or a relaxed tv night. I also love a good shop but you would just as likely find me spending hours in a stationary store as any fashion ones.

Music, Movies, and Books

My childhood favorite movie was Anastasia and favorite book was Ella Enchanted but I like to think that I have outgrown my princess complex and have matured my tastes. Now my favourite TV shows are Sherlock, Community and Black Books, movies anything but The Godfather, music The Cranberries, Chet Faker and The Dandy Warhols and books The Martian, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and Catch 22. So essentially I am a bit all over the place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently finished walking the camino through Spain which was one of the most amazing things I have ever done. As it was 800 k of walking in 33 days it was really tough but the people you meet and the cheap wine makes the whole thing worth it.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Cambodia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Macao, New Zealand, Spain, Thailand, United States, Viet Nam
