About Me

ABOUT ME

And I’m off! Booked my ticket yesterday, packed my bike today, and cathing the plane to Cuba tonight...hows that for planning?! Looking forward to some adventure, to meet some interesting people, eat delicious food, and maybe even dance a little. If you'd like to meet up, send me a message. I’m a positive person who loves to laugh, get excited about ideas, make food together, and hear others stories, and I would love to hear yours.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is better when excited!

Interests

I love being outdoors, and some of my best memories involve canoeing down meandering rivers, hiking around mountains, biking on country roads, camping with friends.
Eating, cooking and I have a real appreciation for good food. Not only it a delicious activity but a social one too! Preparing and sharing a food together is a lovely way to spend time with friends. meal with friends. And trying new foods is one of my favourite things about traveling.

Other things I get excited about include, picture taking, farms and farmers markets, baked goods, dancing, story telling,

Music, Movies, and Books

Time and place for all music, meaning I can get into almost everything. And I mean that.
So whether it's being inspired by some hip hop while writing my thesis (weird?), sipping coffee in the morning to jazz, kicking up my heels to some fiddle, twisting to motown..
Most of all I'd say music that makes you feel something.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The memories I have from the month I spent in the Dolpa district of Nepal are those. My life for those weeks was is so far removed from my current day to day that I often think back and it's hard to beleive I was actually there. 5 days walk to the closest road, surrounded by towering mountains, so immense but so quiet. While always feeling incredibly welcome my the local , while also feeling the incredible isolation that comes with having limited language.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, India, Kenya, Laos, Nepal, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda

Countries I’ve Lived In
