I've moved around quite a bit, and now find myself living in beautiful Margaree Forks. My house, still referred to my most as Flora May's house, was until recently lived in by a 90 year old granny and so has a particular charm, including, an impressive button collection, cookbooks from the 1950s and a curious number of miniature liquor bottles....

One of my favourite things is meeting new people, sharing stories, laughs and hopefully some good food.

I've done my fair share of couchsurfing. Now that I have a couch, I'd like to pass on the favour.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best couchsurfing experiences have been of the informal kind. You're traveling, someone takes an interest in you. Invites you for a meal, offers you a place to stay the night. Those are the best kind.

My perfect day would probably include some of the following:

River swims, being the woods, cafe people watching, cheese, golden beets,tapioca pudding, searching for flight deals, summer night biking, watercolours, rhubarb, greasy diners, getting excited by ideas, winter, cooking, friends, laughing.
