I like Renaissance festivals, singing (part music!), Tribal dance, Permaculture, natural building, tiny houses, meditation, etc. etc.
Basically I am a modern-day hippie.
I like to think of myself as quiet and understated. I'm not a heavy partier by any means, but I do like an occasional glass of wine, especially if there's live music involved.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel sometimes :) Mostly I sleep at truck stops, but that gets isolating. It's nice to meet interesting people now and then!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in a wood-heated cabin in the woods in Michigan without a working toilet for a year. It was amazing for me... changed my perception of what I need to be happy and comfortable!
