About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring, learning, enjoying. Pura vida.

ABOUT ME

Bookworm, nature lover/city person, clean freak, night owl, student, daughter, sister, friend, roommate. I like thai food and people who can talk about the world... I like hammocks and rain, politics and belly laughs, coffee and jogs. I want to go everywhere.
How else can I describe myself in a text box on a computer?

PHILOSOPHY

Never to fully decide on a personal philosophy, or at least never to have just one. At this point I've learned (time and time again) the importance of perspective, and that I probably won't know why I do what I do, why I live my life, for quite some time... which is just fine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very few thus far.

Interests

Nooks and crannies, family history, educational theory, politics, slam poetry, the stuff I still don't know about my friends, languages, sustainability, the thousands of ways to make coffee, time management, apocalyptic movies... everything?

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: anything from Joni Mitchell to Feist to Led Zeppelin to Shakira to Sublime to Coldplay to Mac Dre... Kings of Convenience, Lauryn Hill, Atmosphere, Dispatch, Brett Dennen, Mika, Spearhead, Radiohead, Queen, Chili Peppers, Ratatat... the list could go on and on. I could probably even still rock out to Savage Garden.
Movies: Amelie, Life is Beautiful, Atonement. Just nothing scary or overly cheesy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in an apartment in Madrid with 7 different nationalities for a year.
