We are Georgie and James - a couple in our early 30s on our first overseas holiday together! We come from a small town in country Victoria, Australia, where we live in our first home with our two cats. Georgie works in conservation and James runs a small gardening business, so most of our work days are spent outdoors, and we spend our spare time with friends and family, in the garden or (very gradually) renovating our house.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are travelling in the UK in Summer 2024 (our first overseas trip together) and want to get the most genuine experience of each place we're lucky enough to go to. We can't think of a better way to travel than to stay with local people and get to experience a country and it's cultures with those who know it best!
We hope to make some lovely new friends who can show us all the hidden treasures from their part of the world, and hopefully repay the favour one day in Australia.
