Overview
About Me
An open-minded, laidback 31 year old. Terrible at writing about myself in the third person.. Sometimes I live in London and work as a nurse, but I spend most of my time exploring elsewhere. This time round, I've been travelling for 11 glorious months so far! I love experiencing new places, meeting new people, and making the most of life. My glass is always half full! I started backpacking when I travelled to Kenya in 2008, and have had the bug ever since. Part of me loves solitude and the quiet life - camping, hiking, nature etc. whereas the other part loves partying, festivals, raves. Just here to have fun and be nice to people :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The more I travel, the more I have started to use Couchsurfing. It's been such a great way to meet local people in the places I'm travelling and share their way of life. I love to camp and stay in hostels too, but it is so much more special for someone from the country you are visiting to take you under their wing for a bit. I haven't been able to host yet but am excited to start when I eventually go back to the UK. I do not plan on having children, but it's my dream if I ever get my own place to have a regular stream of Couchsurfers instead! It would be great for me to give back all the kindness that has been shown to me from other hosts. What goes around comes around :)

Working on a bison ranch in Canada,
Snorkelling with wild dolphins in New Zealand,
Climbing mount Sinai during covid and having the peak to myself at sunset..
There are so many amazing things to do in the world!!
Teach, Learn, Share
Peace be da journey
What I Can Share with Hosts
Usually I love to hang out, learn from each other and get stuck in seeing how you live, but am also good at keeping to myself if you're busy or prefer your space. I also make a very good house elf - cleaning, washing up, cooking (if you're brave enough to take the risk) - put me to work with the chores you hate most!
