Living in Granada, Spain (after living there for 7 months last year working for board), I’m very excited!!!! Moved back to really focus on learning Spanish. Would be great to meet people living in granada to share experiences, places to go. Activities I can get involved with like, good Spanish tutors, gigs, yoga classes or cooperatives. (Also people into bouldering! I’d like to get into sport climbing, Would be great to meet someone who’d be interested in helping me learn!). Also really really want to do lots of big hiking this year!!!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I was introduced to couch surfing by a friend whilst visiting Morocco and met some fantastic, kind, generous people on that trip through doing it and found out about places that we probably wouldn't have otherwise! Traveling alone can be pretty daunting and getting to meet and stay with people who know the area well can really help boost your confidence!

Interessen

I like walking or cycling or running in the county side (I miss the Peak District where I am from a lot) and I love watching bad movies! Recently really got into making clothes, it takes patients which is a skill I am learning. I'm not especially good at it but I love cooking and food!! Another reason why couch surfing is great, you get to meet people who can cook all sorts of weird and wonderful things I can attempt to learn. I love going to gigs and outdoor swimming!! Climbing (I’m mainly into bouldering but would love to meet people into sport climbing that could help me learn!)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Betty Blue, To Kill A MockingBird, A Crystal World, Psychopath Test, Naked Lunch and The Great Shark Hunt, Feminine Gospels, Just Kids, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest. It takes me a very long time to read books but I enjoy it.

Hate to say it but I love most music genres in some way! Some instrumental hiphop like Madlib and Taku. And other more ambient music like Boards of Canada and Bonobo. I like electronic music, artists like Jerome Hill, Luna C, Hellfish, lots of old school hardcore and gabba. (I love an insane artist called igorrr!). I love Fela Kuti and Amadou & Mariam. Jacki mitto. Then some classics like David Bowie, The Beatles, nirvana and Talking heads. I love No Name and Mahalia. But i always want to know more and love to share with people!!

Some of my favourite movies are: La Haine, The Skin I Live In, Gabbeh, The Room (a terrible masterpiece and would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys some terrible acting), Fantastic Planet, The Illusionist, Spice World, The Shining, Moon.
