Hey yo I'm Georgie from Naarm (melbourne) 30 years old, an artist and an art teacher. I'm traveling around big bad OZ with my partner Isaac (Catalan, doco maker, 35) and our black scraggy kelpie, Kalu (dog, 5).

I LOVE to travel, but have very little interest in tourist attractions. I travel to meet people and learn about them and their life. That's why couch surfing has become a favourite past time.

I've been couchsurfing and hosting since 2009 and it's brought so many amazing people into my life. I've met life long friends and also my partner Isaac. When I stay with people I like to adapt and become a part of my host's lifestyle and culture. I think that it beats any hostel experience offered anywhere in the world. And hosting keeps my house alive, I love having people coming and going.
