ABOUT ME

I am a 23 years old girl from Singapore. I have just graduated from University and am embarking on my 30 days spontaneous trip around South East Asia - Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.

I lived and studied in Utrecht (The Netherlands) for 6 months. During that period of time, I backpacked around Europe, learning about different cultures and making new friends. I couchsurfed whenever I backpack and it's an experience I would not exchange anything else for.

Looking forward to live the spirit of couchsurfing once again. I hope you host me when I am backpacking around South East Asia! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was studying and travelling in Europe over 6 months. Thus, I have been surfing in various European countries. (You can read the references below!)

I have so wonderful CS experiences so far, that no words can describe the hospitality of my hosts. Each CS experience is unique and taught me something new everytime. Now that I am back home in Singapore, I am inspired to continue this CS spirit and return the favour!

Interessi

I like the feeling of adrenaline rush. I play competitive sports such as hockey, floorball, touch rugby and soccer. I picked up scuba - diving recently and I fell in love with the sea and marine life.

I enjoy being close to Nature, especially untouched and natural beaches. I like being outdoor, under the sun. I like outdoor activities, especially water sports!

I like to travel, not only to my final destination but also appreciating the entire journey of travel. That is where I derive my happiness from. I like to travel for an extended period of time, I get more in touch with the local culture that I am in. In this way, I can learn more about the country as well!

I am interested in people, of all kinds. That is why I am studying Sociology! I am interested in cultural differences, and how love is a shared emotion experienced by all human beings. It is an amazing shared emotion, (; truly exemplified in Couch Surfing !

Musica, film e libri

Music:
I like alternative music such as indie pop and indie rock. And also electro music.

Books:
I enjoy reading novels and travel books during my past time. I am open to all types of books except the fantasy genre.

Movies:
Not much of a movie junkie, but I don't mind watching them if I have free time. I am more into theatre plays, musicals, set dramas. I want to watch plays live, not through a medium.
