Hello my name is Geraldine
I was born in Switzerland and still enjoy my life here. But sometimes my thoughts go away from my daily studies and drift to other countries. I loved growing up in a openminded family and doing stuff like house changing. I do have many interests. When I travel I see the beauty of our world.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because of a friend from New Zeland. Her father and mine were working and travelling through Africa when they where young.
From my point of view it's a great opportunity to connect with people all around the world. A lot of times I felt very glad for this side and i'm just happy that it exists. ;-)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

After a week driving through the atacama desert in Chile, I was walking up the way up from the hot thermal springs in a canyon on ca 3000 mM. A Man addressed my friends and me. He told us about his life in suit and tie and that his wife wanted a separation.
She would have said to him: <> in english thats: >> just go to the desert<< and that means i don't wanna hear anything from you and go far away where you have to struggle...
He spended some hours with us and seemed happy far away from his wife in the desert, where he could refresh himself and open his mind for another time.
