About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Me and Marion left France the 11 October 2015 for at least one Year. We plan to visit Asia without using any plane, only by bus, train, car, foot, or boat. We want to see how big the world is, and take the necessary time to appreciate it.
Here is a link to our blog (sadly, only in French right now) :

ABOUT ME
I'm curious about everything, really! But mostly about how the world works: I try to understand how Climate Change, Economics, Politics, Energy, and People work together. And I also like to understand how anything I don't know work, could it be an ancient lock or the most recent gadget.
I'm quite literate in science and technology, and I can usually answer a lot of questions about how things work (see previous paragraph).
I like to teach anything I know, and I also like to learn from passionate people!
I always want to understand everything, and since I was able to talk, I never really stopped asking questions.
I also like all sorts of outdoor things like climbing, hiking, and even paragliding a little bit.
I like photography too, and I read quite a lot.
PHILOSOPHY
“Live as if you were to die tomorrow.
Learn as if you were to live forever.”
Mahatma Gandhi
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Right now, we have mostly hosted a few people. But now we are on the road during the next year, I hope that we will meet a lot of friendly hosts all around Asia. We really would like to meet people from the country we are going to visit, instead of just doing some basic tourism.
Interests
Travelling, climbing, cooking, reading, photography, teaching science, learning anything if taught by someone passionate!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have seen a sun-set upon the Salar D'Uyuni flooded.
It is definitely the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
I have been in front of 80 students, and tried to make them like maths...
I have emptied my flat, quit from my job, and left France to visit Asia during one Year with Marion.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach maths, or French, or programming!
I can also teach origami, and basic juggling.
I could even teach how to swim, if given a pool and enough time!
Given enough time to hunt for the right products, we could try to make giant bubbles (look at the picture).
I'd like to learn the meaning of life, or simply discuss about it, and I like to rebuilt the world many times in a single evening.
I'd like also to improve my Spanish, German and Russian.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach Origami (art of folding paper).
I can cook French and Alsatian cuisine, though in some countries it might be harder, as all the products are not always available.
I can help you learning French, or even English.
I can teach photography (how to stop using only Auto mode).
Countries I’ve Visited
