About Me

An open minded person growing up in a small, backward town, I'm used to travel upstream.

I'm an observer, but I try to not have opinions about things. I love making spontaneous decisions, and always live one moment at a time. So far, it has worked well for me. I'm an atheist. I love travelling. More so, alone. I respect private spaces, and expect the same from people around me.

I'm an introvert who's more often found in inspiring habitats such as bookstores and libraries, rather than night clubs. I can occasionally hold conversations, and love interacting with new people, but I can never find the appropriate icebreakers.

I'm not Patriotic, but I am ethical. I consider myself compelled by my privilege and position to help others who have not got the same. I always try to fulfill my obligations. I like to believe I am rational, more than I actually am 😁

And as should be evident by now, I'm not always very coherent with my thought processes.
Oh! And I love eating 😁

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Recent experiences changed my view on people and I now believe that our lives are too short to meet all the good people you can. I joined Couchsurfing as a part of this change and want to experience that the community offers.
I look forward to spend my time with hosts, and join the meetups that are hosted on this portal.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
The genres I love have often nothing in common, and that's because different music compliments different emotions and times. I'll try to mention the most frequent/important artists that I listen to:
The Beatles, Iron and Wine, Gregory Alan Isakov, Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers. Flobots, Rise Against. Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Boney M, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd... the list would never end.

Books:
It's much more difficult to have a short list of books that I love. On the top of my head,
Notes from The Underground by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Apology by Plato, The Foundation Series by Issac Asimov, the Witcher series by Andrzej Sapkowski.

I'm not that into movies, although I don't mind watching them. I just won't go out my way to do so.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Run a social work group in my college, organizing blood donation drives, teaching English to blind students, regularly interacted with kids at an orphanage.
