About Me

I'm a friendly and trustworthy working professional living in the beautiful Bondi Beach, Sydney Australia. My passion with travel is to visit the hidden secrets of the six continents and become a better person by learning from the endless variety of culture and people to meet.

I live with my girlfriend in our own place so am very experienced in keeping a place clean, tidy and respecting the neighbours.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

"Love only grows by sharing. You can only have more for yourself by giving to others".

I would rather be staying with a friendly, trustworthy and fun local to truly appreciate a new place, than be stuck in a hotel/resort with unfriendly hotel workers and unappreciative tourists.

Interests

Where do I begin?
- Being among nature (trekking, camping, cycling, surfing, snorkeling)
- Diving into new cultures through food, people, traditions, markets
- Continuous learning from meeting new people and sharing opinions, jokes and experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I considered myself eclectic, staying open to enjoy all genres including indie, hip-hop, electronic, acoustic covers, reggae, and easy listening.

Movies:
All good films based on a true story, and any film with Denzel Washington

Books:
All biographies and autobiographies on interesting and inspiring people and cultures. For example, Gandhi, Born to Run, Dalai Lama, Lance Armstrong, Barack Obama.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Mount Kilimanjaro - a true awe-inspiring challenge to conquer the top of Africa.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
- Living in Australia, and applying for permanent visas given my experience with my girlfriend (originally from Italy).
- Triathlon strategy (swimming, cycling and running are hard enough on their own, let alone in succession!)
- Personal finance (unfortunately saving and borrowing money is part of our lives, and my banking experience can help).

Learn:
- culture, languages and food in new places

Share:
- Travel stories, travel stories, travel stories
