About Me

Art / science geek. INTJ / 5w4 if that's meaningful to you. Weird, curious and friendly.

Professional photographer who takes way too many non-professional photos.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not easily offended; unlikely to hurl anything at you regardless of what's in your collections... with a few exceptions.

Music: all sorts of genres, including classical, metal, rock, indie, oldies and film and video game music.

Books: anything well-paced and thought-provoking fiction; I also enjoy non fiction relating to my interests.

Film: almost anything, from silent 1920s films and subtitled foreign films to bad blockbusters. e.g. Stanley Kubrick films, North by Northwest, Star Wars, Airplane, Groundhog Day, Being There, Dumbo, Lone Wolf and Cub 6, The Terminator and Kung Fu Hustle.

Rick and Morty deserves a mention here (despite not being a movie) for its geekiness, political incorrectness and philosophical nature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Earlier this year I hiked through the Indonesian jungle and saw Orangutans in the wild, and gazed into the eyes of a baby one centimetres away for what seemed liked an eternity...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English and other languages, photography, the deepest secrets of the universe, and most importantly, cartwheels.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The wisdom of the ancients. And toenail clippings.
