About Me

I'm an honest and curious person and I love to be fascinated by people and learn their stories, motivations and wisdom. I look at travelling as getting outside of the familiarity and comfort of home and continuing on a pursuit to evolve into a person that can nourish the place that they are visiting as well as the place they return to, a gratitude for where you were and what now has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and to really listen to what they have to say, to learn about cultures and artistic pursuits, get chances to give back and be part of the communities I'm visiting and get to see the authentic local side of the diverse places I'm travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

80's new wave music is my favourite, a lot of synth and stuff like that. I also love contemporary alternative music and independent artists from Australia and abroad. I love movies, almost all forms of movies from David Lynch to Disney Pixar to Spirited away to avengers to Filth to Chinatown. Books are probably my most meaningful
and treasured past time though, I'm currently reading several at once because I get too excited.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seen the total Solar Eclipse with my housemate, drove for hours and hours and barely slept to get to Oregon in time but I think it was one of the most exhilarating 30 seconds of natural beauty I've seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a lot about Coffee, how to make it, how to buy it and of course how to drink it. I can also teach cooking and some general life perspective questions. I'd love to learn yoga and other forms of meditative and health focused specialities!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my absurdly dry sense of humour and a thought provoking questions like if you were a fruit tree, what fruit tree will you be? & what's the best accident you ever made?
