About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finishing BSc... and be happy whenever there is little time

ABOUT ME

Describing myself to myself - ok, I do that a lot to understand a little bit of my I. But describing myself for others - it's impossible to do that the right way.
Well, that's the first thing about me, I'm a perfectionist. Hmm, maybe not. I don't know.

What do I know about myself which I can tell here, besides the formal stuff? I guess I'm not a bad person in the sense that a lot of people don't like me. And I like a lot of people. And there are even more people I'm interested in. Which means that I like long, deep conversations with anybody. Actually, I'm not that good in talking about nothing. So for some people I'm boring. But I see that that doesn't mean I can't have a really chilly-relaxing-hanging-on-a-couch-with-or-without-a-good-beer-talk. Well, enough self-defence here, see the rest for more specific things about me

PHILOSOPHY

Vallen is van later zorg
(Falling is of later concern)(?)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just getting into it. Until now I've had some recent surfing experience, which was great. I've hosted a few people in Rotterdam, which was also very nice.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed at two peoples houses, which was great, both brought nice conversationes, some touring in the city, eating local food, just great!
I've hosted two times myself and one time with a roommate, so not that much, but very positive!

Interests

People, (good) life, making music (on voice, piano, violin, guitar,...), listening to it, recording, talking about it, whatever.

Further on: movies, (modern) art, philosophy, psychology, religion, cultures, travelling

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting the nature of Norge (Norway), that was awesome.
Climbing the Pireneos' highest mountain, the Aneto (we failed to reach the top though - next time!)

Teach, Learn, Share

Share: music (making or listening or talking), enjoying slow life, thoughts about how people communicate, how to live and any thoughts we can share, languagetrouble and -fun, something sportive, like volleyball

Learn: I'm interested in everything, also in how to clean the bathroom most (un)efficiently. I'd like to learn more about travelling. And aargh, there is so much I wanna learn, I can't decide what to put here

Teach: music, maths, some philosophy and thinking about life

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Malta, Montenegro, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom
