Después de Maria acabar los estudios, y Gerard estar trabajando muy duro, decidimos irnos a Inglaterra para mejorar nuestro inglés, conocer nueva gente y vivir una experiencia increible! También tuvimos que trabajar, y al principio, sobrevivir sin casi hablar el idioma! Después de dos años, volvimos a pasar las Navidades en casa, preparar la mochila, y empezar esta gran aventura por Sudamérica.

Hi, we are Gerard(26) and Maria(25), a couple from Catalonia. In January 2016 we start a new adventure: backpacking around South America.
For that, we made a travel blog to share all the experiences that we have lived (travels around Europe and our English experience) with everbody, and it's called Viajando con 13kg, it means Travelling with 13kg.

After our studies, and work few years in Spain, we decided to move to England to improve our English, meet new people and live an experience, at the same time that we work. After near two years, we come back to Spain to spend Christmas with our families and start this new adventure in South America.

Tenemos una pasión: viajar! Por esto, siempre que hemos podido nos hemos escapado, aunque fuera un sólo día! Ahora, estamos realizando un sueño: viajar por tiempo indefinido.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Nos encanta escuchar bandas locales, pero estamos abiertos a escuchar cualquier tipo de música y a apuntarnos cualquier recomendación que nos quieran dar. Y más si son artistas de los países por los que vamos. Siempre que podemos, intentamos de enseñar grupos catalanes allá donde vamos.

We love the small local bands but we are open mind and we can listen any kind of music, all of them have something to teach.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Una de las cosas más increibles fue irnos a vivir a Inglaterra y sobrevivir al principio sin casi hablar inglés. Compartimos casa con 18 personas de alrededor del mundo, y esto te ayuda a saberte organizar, respetar cada cultura y a aprender de la experiencia.
Aún así, ma experiencia que estamos viviendo ahora es aún más increible! :)

One amazing think we've done is live in England and meet fantastic people from everywhere. Share house with 18 people helps yourself to be organizate, respect every culture and learn about this.
But the experience we are living right now its even more amazing!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Al ser de Catalunya, al nordeste de España, podemos enseñar algo de nuestra cultura, nuestra música y nuestro idioma, el Catalán. Gerard fue Chef en Inglaterra y Maria siempre le ha gustado hacer postres, así que seguro podemos enseñar a cocinar platos típicos catalanes, españoles, ingleses e incluso orientales!

Catalan language, music and culture. Gerard was Chef in England, and Maria love to do cakes, we can teach some special catalan,spanish,english and oriental food.

No podemos hospedar porque estamos enmedio de nuestro viaje, pero cualquier infornación que necesistéis de Catalunya o de Inglaterra, lugares dónde hemos vivido, nos podéis preguntar sin problema.
Para nuestros futuros couchs: nos encanta compartir experiencias sobre los viajes, enseñar la ruta que vamos a hacer y recibir todo tipo de recomendaciones! :)

We can't host because we are in our travel, but for our future couchs: we can share our desire to travel and show the route that we want to do for the next months. We accept any recomendation!
