About Me

CURRENT MISSION

enjoy my time by doing good deeds and meeting new people

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Gerard and I'm 24 years old from Adelaide, Australia. I'd describe myself as someone who is fun, friendly and a good dancer (after 10 beers/a bottle of wine haha)

I dropped out of university, for the second time, and have been traveling around since June 2017. I’ve spent most of my time in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, volunteering for an NGO called Collective Aid - providing food and aid to refugees and migrants.

I used to work at a bakery during the week (making doughs, baking, making coffees, serving customers etc). Right now, im just focussing on having a good time, doing good things, meeting like minded people and exploring myself and my interests in different contexts.

I'm passionate about sustainability and the environment and try to incorporate this into all aspects of my life!

In my spare time I like to go out with my friends, read books and watch tv.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and discover cities through the eyes of a local who know it best. I like to do a bit of couchsurfing as well as hostels when I travel because you get such different experiences of places this way. I think couchsurfing is such a cool platform when travelling!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can cook rather well (I think haha) and I'm a nice person who likes to listen to others and their stories, and just have a good time. I can teach you to make a nice loaf of bread also :)
