Overview
About Me
I am a 21 years old Salvadoran college student. I am currently living in Clarksville, Arkansas thanks to a really great scholarship. I would like to meet as many people I can in order to make friends and write books. I'm very curious to explore and learn about people coming from different cultures and backgrounds. I am eager to travel extensively, laugh a lot, read more, and share unforgettable moments with as many people as I can meet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that Couchsurfing is a necessary experience to have when you are young, and it would become one of those stories that I would share with my grandsons some day.
Interests
I love good books and long conversations. My scholarly interests are economics, political science, and history. I like all sorts of music genres but I love reggae, classic rock, and alternative music. I am a literature fanatic. I could read thousand times over the work of Joseph Conrad, Garcia Marquez, Graham Greene, Kipling, Dostoevsky, Camus, etc. I like to be around positive people that put me out my comfort zone and invite me to do things I would not dream of doing. I spend my time joking, poking fun, philosophizing, and friendly arguing about all sorts of things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I made a road trip from Clarksville, Arkansas to Seattle, Washington with a couple of friends that were moving over there and I saw the most magnificent mountains and pristine skies I ever laid my eyes on. It was a spiritually enriching experience that I will never forget. Natural beauty was only paired with the friendliness of the people in small-town America who gave us their time and made us feel at home. I also enjoy the conveniences that come with living in the city. I really love Chicago and all its museums, art galleries, cafés, etc.
In Guatemala, I was amazed by the diversity of indigenous groups and their shamanic rituals that have grown ever more tangled with Christianity. It was awesome to see Mayan ceremonies and the main archeological sites.
In England, I got the opportunity to stay there for a month. I really liked London, Oxford, and Cambridge. Cool thing about London is that despite being a really expensive place to live, most cultural attractions are free. I had great fun with my best friend and we got to meet people from all over the world. An unforgettable experience all along!
