My name is Gerard Soler and like to travel by bike. During the summer of 2014 I had my first biketouring experience going from Spain to The Netherlands through Switzerland. Since then I switched to bikepacking (mountain biketouring minimalism) and have travelled from Germany to Moià (near Barcelona) in an Alpcross with a MTB and back, again from Moià to the Alps with all the alpinism equipment to climb my first 4000m mountain. Germany used to be my basecamp when I worked for GHOST-Bikes engineering and designing bikepacking bags that I had sewn and tested during this trips.
I am currently sharing a one-year-long trip with Ariadna, my girlfriend, in Latin America: Perú, Bolívia, Chile and Argentina.
I tend to eat vegetarian food and do love eating, outdoor sports in general and music.

Mi nombre es Gerard Soler y principalmente viajo en bicicleta. Mi primera experiencia viajando en bicicleta fue en 2014 cuando fui de Moià (cerca de Barcelona) hasta Holanda pasando por Suiza. Desde entonces cambié al Bikepaking (cicloturismo minimalista de montaña) y he viajado desde Alemania dónde trabajaba para GHOST-Bikes desarrollando alforjas de bikepacking a Moià ida y vuelta atravesando los Alpes con una doble suspensión. También combiné el bikepacking con el alpinismo saliendo de casa en Moià con una bicicleta de carretera y todo el equipaje (piolet, crampones, etc.) para realizar mi primera montaña de 4000m.
Actualmente comparto un viaje por Latinoamérica con mi compañera Ariadna: Perú, Bolivia, Chile y Argentina.
Suelo comer vegetariano y realmente me encanta comer bien y en cantidad, soy un fanático de los deportes de montaña y me gusta mucho la música.

I have travelled from Germany to Catalonia by bike though the Alps using a bike that I had designed and bikepacking bags that I had designed and sewn myself.
