I am Gerbrich (Anna) and I come from the Netherlands. My pasion is travel. When I was traveling through Australia and New Zealand I did al kind of ways to sleep and stay somewhere. When I discovered couchsurfing. What a wonderfull way of traveling. The warmth and love you receive from the people you stay with is indescribable. I love to meet new people and exchange culture. Respect there way of live. I have traveled a lot already and I've seen how beautiful the world is! You always want to discover more and more.

About me:

At the moment I am living in Friesland that's in the north part of the Netherlands. I bought a few years back a house for myself. I have 2 children now. My oldest is a daugther and she is turning 3 years old this year en my youngest is a son he is turning 2 this year. My boyfriend and father of my children past away when I was pregnant with our second child.
At the moment my live is on hold. I want to travel again and also show my kids how wonderful it is to travel.
So my idea is to buy a camper and travel this time through Europe. Hopefully I can meet again nice people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because this is the best way to travel. Even if I was very rich, I wouldn't mis it for the world! I really love to meet new people, exchange culture and having a good time. This makes you appreciate life and that's what life is all about.

The first amazing thing is couchsurfing. It was a bit scary at first.
Selling everything I've own and left!
Bought a car in Australia!!!
Bought a car in New Zealand!!!
Had a snake around my neck, shooting, riding a motorbike!
Did Volunteer work in Rio de Janeiro.
