HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Depends. Prefer being a wallflower but that never works out, does it? Trying to save the world by getting CSers to give up drinking piss (read: beer)? Oh, hell if I know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted some fabulous people but as I used to be (maybe still am) nasty conference/business traveler myself, I have only surfed for one night myself in Brussels and a week in Paris with very awesome hosts but hey, maybe one year I'll cash in all those chips and go on tour to pretend I have a life...

Americana and Country? Everything most other people hate in my neighborhood. Sometimes I do go crazy and end up listening to Flower Fairy & Dub FX or something equally nutty. Ah, yes, Leonard Cohen, but if you hear me playing it all day, you should call the suicide hotline or just get more gin.

Amm... Millimallikas and a barcrawl and some painkillers in the morning? I have a map or ten here somewhere and I'm sometimes content to drag people out to town for the late hours and have them back home past sunrise (I accept no responsibility for your survival). I probably make a crappy "tour guide" though, if you are into art, history or that totally avoidable thing they call nature, but if I'm not stuck behind a computer or pouring wine at a wine bar, I'm still happy to suffer through (some of) it, show people around and be a tourist myself.
