Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being new, I'd like to get involved in CS, starting to get my first CS experience as a surfer, hope to be able / have time to host soon surfers and always ready to share information about my country or previous travel experiences

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined CS in 2014 as to look for my first CS experience together with a friend, but we actually didn't go anywhere. So in 2016 I decided to give it a chance myself, getting my first CS experiences as a surfer. It were some very nice, possitive, widening and learning experiences.
Before my CS experiences stayed with local people that I met around while traveling.
So very much interested to get some more rather first experiences being a pretty new couch surfer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a very diverse set of music, from rock, pop over folk to local music. While travelling I alwys try to listen and even sometimes buy local music.
I love art house films and documentaries.
Travel guide books always bring ideas and new wanderlust.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying with local families which I met on the road while travelling.
Backpacking for several months in Asia.
Travelling by public transport in many countries

Teach, Learn, Share

Open minded, honest and good hearted people who are not after anything except learning and sharing ideas and experiences in (local) life.
Exchange ways of living, comparing daily life of other cultures and learning from it.

If we can find the right ingredients, I'm happy to try to prepare a (Belgian) meal for you.
