ABOUT ME

Hi,
My name is Gerda and I am mostly a positive person loving new experiences. I have social work degree and going to work in school. I love music, theater, reading, studying, organizing youth activities, camping, being in nature, chilling etc. I am also open to do something I have never tried before, I think learning is a nice thing. I try to make people around me feel as comfortable as possible so no one gets upset or awkward around me.
I play piano, guitar, sing. I worked a lot with children and teenagers in summer camps, youth centers or during various kind of projects, which I still like to do. I also love nature and animals. I have no allergies and I eat mostly everything. I love good tea, but I sometimes drink coffee too. I like meeting people and I hope to continue working with them even in my future. I think it's quite easy to get along with me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am surfing. Since I am moving so much from one apartment to another, from one country to another, and I can't really host any people at the moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted some people several times but I am not that much experienced couch surfer. I think CS is a very good way for doing that. Even if it might be the strangest experience ever, it's still an experience. So that's why I am here!

Interests

Music; going out; taking a ride with a bike; lying in the sun on the grass; going out to the park to read a book; take a boat in a small lake; meet friends; invite someone for a coffee; sew a dress or remake clothes; study language; watch a nice movie; create a crazy video or send a video greeting to a friend; listening to folk music; listening to any kind of music; dancing "social" dances etc. There are too many aspects to say what I'm really interested in, but music is always included.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wild animals fulfilled island in Torö, Sweden! First time in my life climbing in the mountains in the South of Poland!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play something simple with the instruments I play. Maybe some handicraft or huuuge soap bubbles. I also can teach you how to do stop-motion movies which is more than easy to do..!
