About Me

CURRENT MISSION
To inspire those who are around me and use 'but; can't; don't have; scared; too old; not yet' etc phrases when talking about their un-fullfilled dreams. Once you've started to travel and live in a different way, you just have the urge to tell others about that and let them experience that feeling as well. Being open-minded and bringing fun moments into everyday life is my way of making it interesting and worth living. I haven't learned how to be super positive the whole time, though. Therefore, I enjoy every time I have a chance to meet new people, share and hear new stories and experiences. It might be just a short story about a fun moment you once had, but it might as well be a life-changer for someone else. I hope I'm making myself clear- I mean- we can inspire each other with our adventures more than we imagine. ;)

ABOUT ME
Trying to be constantly happy and satisfied with what's going on. If I'm grumpy, my sarcasm and irony in whatever comes out of my mouth, will make you smile anyway.
Like to have a good time. Doesn't matter where or when as long as I have good people around me. Being alone makes me depressive, so- gather around!
Just a human, though- you can easily bribe me with concert tickets, wine, beer, bicycle ride or stand-up comedy night.
I don't like to plan things ahead too much, most likely I will never know what to answer in case someone asks what am I going to do in 6 months. Have plenty of ideas that can't get old and/or boring. Being spontaneous, in the right place on the right time, but never (ok- almost never) late.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mostly by spreading the word (yes, I realise- it does sound a bit weird in this context) about CS community and idea to those who haven't heard of it or are afraid to use it (again-yes- these kind of people still exist).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Been hosted once- looking forward to next times.
Have met a bunch of great people thanks to CS and spent memorable moments together. CouchSurfing somehow allows total strangers not to feel like ones, it is as if you're meeting a friend you haven't seen for a while (ok- for a loooong time)- that's how i've felt about meeting you all so far.
I have hosted couple of people in my place and I must say- boooy was I nervous! It was very fun and cool at the end, but before we met- I think people are that stressed before their wedding or so. That all- only because I wanted to be your best host in Riga. :)

Interests

Music (just listening (don't worry), might be some singing if I'm in especially good mood), cultures (all of them!), anthropology, traveling, taking pictures, tattoos, art, adventures, documentaries, a bit of politics (only trying to figure it out, please, let me know if you hear of someone who has succeeded), coffee (what?- is it morning yet?).

Music, Movies, and Books

Ewert& the Two Dragons, King Charles, Leonard Cohen, Carnival Youth, Patrick Wolf, Regina Spektor, Eddie Vedder, Instrumenti, The Doors and moooore. Funny, huh?- they're making new music so fast, sometimes it's even good. Same applies for movies and books.

The Intouchables, V for Vendetta, Une Rencontre, The Godfather, Ted, Hangover.

Horse Whisperer. BTW- name me one example where the movie is better than a book- I'm genuinely interested if that has ever happened.
