ABOUT ME

How should I start it? It ought to be funny and engaging, right? So...

I'm studying in the capital of Hungary far from my family and hometown, therefore I'm quite independent, concerning my mentality too. And I really love this way of living. :-)

I'm keen on my profession, but I'm trying to keep my eyes peeled and stay open-minded. I really obsessed to learn about history and literature, particulary little anecdotes; funny but useless facts. :-)
Poems, novels, documentaries, letters - don't make the difference - I'm happy to read them. I find it quite exciting to learn simple, ordinary, ereryday used "how-to-do mechanisms" from the past and than integrate it in your own decisions. Recycling history :-)
Arts, no matter if contemporary or "old-fashioned" are always welcome. Especially photography and theatre are in the focus of my interest. I used to take pictures, but after a while I realised my camera was better, than my view. Nowadays I just enjoy others pics. :-)

Phylosophy, ethics, psychology also make me curious and I'm glad to hear different opinions about them.

In my free time I usually go out with friends. I'm playing in a rock&roll band as a guitarist.

Music was always a main pillar of my life, it can set me free everytime.

I started running on half-marathon, marathon distances a few years ago, and I'm still in love with it. Nowadays paragliding and climbing fills up my schedule.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can offer You a couch in my living room, for one or a few nights. If you want me, I can guide you on sightseeing tour, show you my favourite spots, monuments, cafés in the city. I live by the river Danube in the suburbs, but it's easy to reach every part of the city within half an hour.

Margit Island is in a few minutes distance from here, if you prefer quiet places close to nature. However the ,,Roman-coast" - famous for its sparkling night life - is also on the corner.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed just once, in Burgos as a plus one of an other surfer. But the whole athmosphere and phylosophy of surfing carried me with. When I got home, I registrated. :-) Since then, I hosted guys number a bit more than an average football team, from all over he world. :-)

Interests

I always loved to travel, see places I've never been to, meet people with whom maybe I would never. I prefer less frequented places instead of famous tourist paradises. Of course some spots just have to be seen. I'm always looking for adventures, very new experiences. I really love to try out everything, from extreme sports to local food.
