I am a classical musician. In “normal times” I practically travel for a living, but unfortunately rarely have the time to stay longer and see the places in more detail. So when I can make some time, then I prefer to stay with and meet up with locals - I believe it’s the best way getting to know a city, a country and its culture!

Once in a big town in southern Brazil I ended up in a favela, went into a small pub and listened to an all-night long bossa nova concert, being the only audience member and the only person besides the barkeeper and the band. Regardless, they played all their songs. It was unforgettable!
