About Me

RECENT HOSTING INFORMATION:
I just moved to Heidelberg, I have a room for share, i can give you a mattress, but it can be more comfortable if you bring your own as well.

About myself:
I'm 25, studying Cancer Biology at Heidelberg University and I am relatively new in the city.

Now, the less boring part:
UNDER REFRESHMENT!!!
I've hithchiked from Budapest to Paris, it was long, tiring, but an amazing experience! I also drove to switzerland to bring my girlfriend back from her work, and then back.

I've been inspired by the beat generation, so I try to make these travels with the least organising as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosting:
"If you can't visit the world, let the world visit you."
While I'm still studying, I don't really have the time and the money to travel a lot, (I still manage somehow) and one of the best thing in travelling in my opinion, are the short term friendships that you can make with complete strangers. And by hosting, I can get this experience without leaving my home.
Also I live in a big house, with plenty of plenty of place in it,so if I can help some people finding a place to sleep for a few night, why not?

Travelling:
To be honest, I think that the main sights, and the main streets, even the forests and mountains are mostly the same everywhere. What is different, are the people, the swear words, the flavours, the extent of giving a damn about traffic signs, the small local shops and pubs, etc. And it's really hard to learn about these if you stay in a hostel by yourself, so CS is way better if you want to understand the world around you.

I am not a good dancer, but a confident one. My friends say, that I am entertaining to watch.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've hitchiked from Budapest to Paris in two days with my girlfriend. We've met a lot of helpful and amazing people along the road.
I've made a road trip, through Germany and Switzerland, and only got lost a few times.
Went to the concert of my favourite band in Toronto, and I forgot to bring my wallet. I really wanted to drink a beer, so I told my story on the street to a few people, and the were really nice, and gave me some spare change, so I was able to buy myself a drink.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not a great guide when it comes to the main sights of Budapest. But I some clubs, pubs, events, small theatres, and cinemas, so if you want to get know the Budapest I'm familiar with I can definitely help you.

I'm in love with the area north of Budapest, called the Turn of the Danube. There are a lot of lovely villages, great places to camp, hike, bike, swim, with a beautiful view. So if you'd like to spend a day in the countryside, please let me know in your request.
