About Me
Hello everyone! I'm Gergő/Greg from Hungary, originally from a small town, called Eger, which is in the northeastern part of the country.
My so-called international life started almost 7 years ago, when I spent 5 months as an Erasmus student in Brno, Czech Republic. Since then I have been involved in many different activities working with foreign students and people. I took part in several exchange projects, trainings in and out of Europe. In 2013 I had the chance to gain experience within an EVS project in Turkey.
In my free time I try to practise foreign languages, travel, meet new people and share ideas. I have a strong interest in non-formal education. If you happen to come to Prague, don't hesitate to get in touch with me :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to get to know local people. I do not really like the organized travels, where everything is predictable and "fake". I want to meet simple, but amazing people, who can show different unknown places as well.
Interests
I am interested in locals' everyday life, to be able to immerse myself in the local culture.
Music, Movies, and Books
I have no favourite category, I like music from folk to rock, same with Books and Movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Many amazing things, e.g. hitchhiking around Turkey.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn at least a few words of the certain language, share ideas about non-formal educational methods, volunteering, folk-dancing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my experience, things I have done so far.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Vatican City State
