About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see and experience the world, mingle with like minded folks and learn from the rest. The earth is my home!
ABOUT ME
People ID me by my smile, am very high on extrovert list so I prefer flying in the middle seat so I have equal opportunity to strike up conversation with someone on either side. My most treasured experiences are those traveling in foreign places. I will try anything at least once, e.g. sky diving, hot air ballooning, rock climbing (the later many years ago along with snow cave camping on Mt. St. Helens BEFORE it erupted), off the mountains and out of hte sky I adore theatre, have acted, directed, written and produced at the community level. My biggest thrills include riding elephants in Northern Thailand
andin downtown Jaipur, India, and riding a camel in the Thar Desert in India. These days I can be found walking my dog around Capitol Lake in Olympia after my weekend yoga class.
PHILOSOPHY
I have been put on this planet to experience it fully, exploring other cultures. Enjoy meeting people of all kinds.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am a mouthpiece for the website after using it with my niece in Costa Rica for the holidays of 2008. We celebrated both Christmas and New Year's with CS hosts and joined their parties. I now live with a former coworker so that I may be free to travel more as well as host. She is in the process of signing up.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
see above. Spent Christmas '08 in San Jose, CR and New Year's in Quepos dancing in the streets while traveling with my niece. There is only a breif mention of me on Marc Farber's page as been "a fun aunt to CS'r Sarah. I felt as though I had known both these hosts all my life and was equally welcomed by their friends during the holidays.
Interests
I adore theatre of all kinds, have performed stand up comedy in my younger days, have a close network of close friends, am a dabbler at many things rather than an expert at few. My interests have a habit of changing over the years - have at one time been a practicing hypnotherapist and healthcare practitioner, but now spend my days exploring new travel destinations with next trip to Israel or Ecuador possibly in 2017.

Am currently reading "Tales of a female nomad" which was given to me by a seat mate on my last flight home over the holidays; jusy saw a great play "End Days" at the Harlequin theatre, usually see all the Oscar nominees and always have a book next to my bed except I usually fall asleep fast. Avid follower of Gaiam TV/ David Wilcock and others
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trekked in Irian Jaya with the natives as well as 2 other travelers I met along the way. I felt as though I was living in a National Geographic Magazine! Solo traveler around the world. Dived into Cenotes in CanCun, Mexico.
