About Me
Born in belgium, raised in Australia, and touched by so many other cultures.
My parents, four sisters and I moved down under when I was just five, me not knowing any English or the difference between a dingo and dog. I just knew there were weird animals. As kids we went camping and travelling a lot, always a backpack and some boots and we’d stay at dingy guesthouses in quaint little rooms with lots of beds. Privacy is something I had to learn to live without in those times but it fostered a desire to travel and see the world and a closeness between all of us. We went to thailand, cambodia, laos, cuba, south africa, malaysia, spain, greece, france..
But the real travelling started when I was 21 and I went for my first trip by myself. I went to thailand for three weeks and loved the feeling of pure freedom of being able to grab my bag whenever i wished and dart off into the horizon. Then I went to India for two months just before covid. Varanasi hypnotised me. The himalayas took my breath away. Stories and people I will never forget.
Aside from that, I’m an ex software engineer so absolutely here to help you with all your computer questions. I like hiking, slacklining, shooting photos on film and recently digital (Minolta x-570 + fuji xt-4), pondering life. Some of my favourite values are authenticity, humility and curiosity.
