About Me
FYI $60 seems a bit steep to be "verified." If you'd like I can email you a copy of my driver's license and/or passport, and you can find me all over social media. :)
CURRENT MISSION
To meet new friends and experience life through travel! My next great trip will be exploring Italy!! :)
ABOUT ME
If am mid-life, then I still have at least 50 more years to go! :)
I travel full-time throughout the United States in a van that has been converted into a camper by removing the seats and putting in a bed. I travel with my dog Brie, a red, long-haired, miniature dachshund.
PHILOSOPHY
It's hard to put into words, but basically I feel that we are all interconnected with the Power of the Universe - we are "the children of God" and we are "God" as well. I think it might be hard to comprehend intellectually but easier to just feel spiritually. :) God is ONE LOVE, JOY, HAPPINESS, UNITY!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I also love to travel, and have been to much of the United States, as well as overseas destinations including Scotland, Ireland, Germany, France, and Austria, and most recently Turkey (Istanbul). I've enjoyed several cruises to the Caribbean. I'd like to visit Italy, Greece, Morocco.. Europe :) oh and India, Thailand, parts of Africa, and probably south and central America... so many places, so little time!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had great visits at the homes of two excellent hosts, and also met a wonderful local guide; and I also have stayed with friends of friends and acquaintances made through contacts in the intentional communities movement.
Interests
I enjoy researching many subjects through the magic of the Internet. Some of my interests include collecting foreign money, conspiracy theories, genealogy, and mythological world history. I love to go to places steeped in history, like castles and ruins. I am thrilled with excitement at experiencing new cultures. My mouth waters at tasting new cuisines. If I don't get there by van or airplane, I also like to cruise when I can. I enjoy attending historical reenactments such as Renaissance Festivals or local events. I am very good at playing Scrabble and like other board games. I love to go to plays and musicals (Les Miserable, Cats, Phantom of the Opera, etc.)! Occasionally I also design T-shirts to sell on Zazzle.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: too varied to mention, I think - from 70's to current pop music, or sing-along at Renfest. Movies: Romantic comedies, thrillers (but not horror), movie musicals including Bollywood! Books: usually thrillers written by authors like John Sandford, James Patterson, Thomas Harris, Dan Brown.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Why just one?
Watched 'Phantom of the Opera' from the 2nd row on Broadway! (why not two?)
Visited Istanbul for almost three weeks as a solo traveler!
Lived in my van for about 8 months last year, traveling in the USA, meeting other van-dwelling friends.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a little bit about homesteading, I'm a great travel planner and researcher (yay Google!). :) I enjoy playing guitar, though I can only play chords. I really enjoy learning and talking about language. I can tell you about the times I've lived in my van or when I lived in a "hippie commune" and visited other intentional communities as well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm not sure, though I think I'm fun and funny; I enjoy good conversations and laughing together.
Countries I’ve Visited
