About Me

Living in Turin ready to meet cool people

CURRENT MISSION

To travel as much as I can, to have a positive impact in people's lives.

ABOUT ME

I'm that kind of guy that can talk for hours about different subjects, the one who loves to share experiences, the one who love to listen what people have to say, the kind of guy that always try to give the best advice he can. I'm the kind of person that is passionate about things, from basketball to friends, from tv series to politics, from travelling to writing. Every thing I do, I do it with passion, with heart. I think that's something common in a lot of Argentinians and Italians, being a mix of both makes that passion to elevate to square. I'm always going to give 100% of myself, I'm the kind of guy you can count on even if we just met. I tend to trust people. I love a short story that goes like this:

"That was this man that left his town and after days of walking arrived to another town. At the doors of this city a wise man was standing. "Old man - asked the traveler - tell me about the people of this city, how are they?", the wise man answered back, "how are the people of your town fellow traveler?". The man shook his head, "unfortunately they are mean people, uneducated, with a very bad treat with each other". The old man said then to the traveler: "here you will find the same kind of people". The traveler passed by the city and continued his journey.
Later that day another traveler arrived at the gates and asked the wise old man the same question the other made that same morning, "what about the people of this city, how are they?", the wise man response was the same. "how are the people of your town fellow traveler?". With a big smile on his face, the traveler answered back, "they are the kind of people you love to spend time with, amazing people, always ready to help, always smiling". The old man said then to the traveler: "here you will find the same kind of people". The traveler entered the city happy to be there.

It's all about your attitude, the way you give yourself to the others, you find what you attract with your mind, with your soul. If you're a good person you'll find a good person. If you're willing to live great experiences you will certainly do. That's me, the kind of guy that is positive and ready to find the next good person in his live, to live the next great adventure in his life.

I'm a guy that loves to play basketball, that's the thing that distract me even when I have a bad day, I love to listen to the music while I'm lying on my bad or walking down the streets, if you see someone dancing down the street, there's a big chance it's me. If I'm feeling the song I'm feeling it and I don't care what people may thing, I'm gonna shake may body!

Well, that's some of me, I really hope you think that spending some time together it's going to be great.
I may not know you yet, but I'm sure that since you choose me for either, to stay at my place or having me at yours, I'm thrilled to get to know you. And I'm sure you'll leave with something good of me as I will leave with something good from you.

PHILOSOPHY

Be true. Be happy. Be blessed. Be optimistic. Dream big. Work hard: you didn't come this far to just get this far.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted many people under my roof, not everyone is here on couchsurfing, many were friends of friends of friends or friends from abroad that I got to know thanks to college and that came home to spent a couple of days. I've been host many times, a couple of times through couchsurfing, other through friends of friends of friends. Yes, I'm someone that makes friends easely when I find a connection with someone and I love to know new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Down below you can see my first CS experience. As I said before I hosted more lot people during my time in Argentina, mostly students studying abroad as well as some few travelers. I really hope to host and be hosted a lot more since knowing people is definitely one of the most enriching experience a person can do in his life.

UPDATE 2018: came back to Italy and I'm temporarely living with my parents until summer is over so I have no room to host anyone unfortunately atm.

During 2017 I've hosted a couple of people from Italy in my house in Argentina and was hosted.

During 2016 I hosted a great friend of mine in Turin and two great guys in Buenos Aires. Also had the chance to grab some coffee and go around Buenos Aires with great people studying abroad :)

September 2015 - I've been hosted by Hector, this amazing Brazilian guy and his French girlfriend in Lyon. I've stayed 2 nights there and spent quite some time talking with them and going around the city with him. He was such a great person!

July 2015 - I've been hosted by two amazing guys living in Paris, Isaias y Marc Antoine, I came to them through a friend (Antoine, a French that I got to know in Argentina at the house of a Canadien guy) we have in common that I knew thanks to another friend (Robin from Switzerland that I got to know since he was studying abroad for the semester) I had in common with this friend in common. Yeah... clear example of how great is to make friends from all over the world!

21 Dec 2011 - I was hosted in San Antonio by the Laven family, they were awsome!!!!!!!!!!!! they showed me around, the took me to the place where they play music, I had a lot of good beers and really got to know texan people. The Lavens will stand in my heart forever, they make my trip more special then it was supposed to be! Thanks guys!

17 Dec 2011 - I was hosted by this amazing girl called Liz in Newport Beach, it was great experience and I had a lot of fun with her and her friends! I really hope to see them again and I hope to have the chance to hang out again with those guys!

Dec 2011 - I hosted people for the first time from CS and it was great! Hila and Bar, two awsome girls that made my first CS experience great! Recently I had host two friends from Chicago, they came to Argentina for a semester to study the lenguage and before they leave to the United States came to my house (the third weekend of june). It was great to have Paul and Eli here, we hang out, played basketball and i showed how is to live around here. In december i will go a couple of days to Eli's home so it will be great to know their place and how it works life in Chicago.

Interests

Oh well, I think I said quite a few above in my description right?

So, I'm going to go easy here and just tell you that there are few things I'm not interested in. As a couchsurfer I have an open mind even if I must admit that when I was younger I was kind of a close person. I think that experiences in life makes you what you are and I've learned a lot since. Fortunately becoming more open minded made me enjoy a lot of different things.

I love to hang out with friends, I love to spend an easy night drinking beer at my house with my fellas while talking about stuff and I also enjoy now and then a night out clubbing. I love to travel like most of you, I love to cook and I'm pretty good at it so I really hope to have time to cook for you and to try something of your cuisine if you like to cook as well. I love to talk politics, there's no tabu in there for me, I may have my opinions but I'm ready to listen to yours, common ground can always be achieved and we can set, in our small world, the bases for a better place.

As I said before, this is just something about my interests, I really hope we can get to know in order to discover more from ourselves!

Music, Movies, and Books

Love to watch movies, almost all types of movies, but drama is not at my the top of my list and horror is not at all in my list. Give me comedy, adventure, suspense, historical and I'm gonna have a great time!
Tv shows are also something I really like and I can go for almost every sort of, from HIMYM to GoT, from Falling Skies to Gossip Girl, from TBBT to 13 Reasons Why, from Altered Carbon to some Anime.

Currently watching: Blackish (amazing show!) HIMYM (for the 5th time), GoT (for the 3nd time), Arrow, Flash, Blindspot, Supergirl, 13 Reasons Why (just finished season 2), One Piece.

Music.. it's all about my mood.. In my phone you can find Oasis, Avicii, Daddy Yankee, Eminem, Garrix, Shakira, The Lonely Island, The Beatles, DJ Khaled, Enya and only God knows what else! You know, almost everything. Metal definitely not, but some classical music you will for sure. PS: so fucking sad Avicii is gone, like... truly sad even a few months after his death.

Books.. well you ask about what i like to read? Adventures, Historic novels, Novels.. mostly novels I would say. My last book was "A Dance with Dragons", I'm currently reading "My Vision" written by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and "Legacy" by James Kerr.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last amazing thing I did was to start my own business :)

Went under the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and looked up! It's quite a strange sensation! You will feel powerless and at the same time amazed how great things human work can do. Try it!

I saw the San Antonio Spurs in their home court and I had the chance to meet and talk to my hero Manu Ginobili!

I played basketball with americans in Chicago!

I saw the Alpes, I've been there and skied!

I saw the Colosseum and the Vatican (maaaany times), I felt for a moment how it would have been to live in the Roman age!

Went from Turin to London, to Liverpool, to Dublin and Paris. All in just 7 days. That was incredible! (2016)

Rafting in Mendoza with my girlfriend :)

I partied and got drunk in Lima, I partied and got drunk in LA, I partied and got drunk in Sao Paulo, I partied and got drunk in Buenos Aires.. you know things that happen when you go out.. ahahah.. I got drunk like almost everybody else! But that's not common at all, really, I was just kidding! I really know how to party and also enjoy a night out without alcohol if needed!

Wrote a novel. More than 100K viewers on the web page. That's something I'm very proud of! I love to write for the love of writing, without looking for a reward more than the joy of a story that wants to be written for the readers. I'm just the means by which a story wants to be on pages. That's the way I feel about writing and it's awesome.

I did a lot of amazing things in my life, some may sounds common, like sharing a trip with my little brother to Rome, others may seem amazing. Let's get comfortable at your place or mine and let's talk about my experiences and yours. We're going to have a really good time listening to each other, I'm sure!

Teach, Learn, Share

First of all I think I can learn a lot from you, because every traveler has something to share and teach. I travel to learn, to enrich my self. At the same time I try to give myself to you, I want you to learn something from me, if you don't, I've failed. It doesn't happen often, so there is a big chance we're going to learn a lot from each other!
It's all about asking, sharing and enjoying it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My stories, my experiences, my point of view, a great day together, my knowledge, a drink, a book. Part of me. I thing that's the way we should be in CS. Give ourselves and receive the other person.

But most of all, I can show you around in Turin. I love my city, I fall in love everyday with it and while I'm not able to host you, I would be able to show you around, to invite you home for dinners and lunches and spend family time if you are interested in it.
