About Me
Where to start... I guess at the beginning....
Born in the South-West of Germany and lived in a small-ish village (Hausen im Killertal, Schwäbische Alb, richtung Stuttgart). I moved to the US when I was 14, but have gone back to visit every couple of years. Traveled a lot around Europe, especially with my wife who I met in College. Took her out of the states for the first time in her life :)
Also been to China, Northern Africa and some parts of central and south America.
I love the couchsurfing community. It's like a safer, more personal hostel where you can still meet like-minded travel-loving people to hang out with, without sharing a room with 6-10 people. Locals are the best to help you find all the good spots too!
In the States I've lived in Missouri, Colorado, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and now Utah.
I love the mountains and the outdoors, so I have to vote for CO and UT as my favorite spots so far. NH is nice too, but the snow just isn't the same.
We have two dogs, Husky and a Lab. They love the outdoors even more than I do.
So yea. I love to meet new people, especially ones who have a good philosophy on life and enjoy sharing stories over some food, drinks or a bleezy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For the experience of getting to know a city/place from the perspective of someone that lives there as well as making some new friends around the world.
