Hi, my name is Gerolf

I am a "freelance volunteer" in several (youth) organizations of my region. I organize exchange projects and share my travel experiences with school students in workshops.

Apart from traveling, my job has to do a lot with creativity. I have experience in several types of art and am a musician, guitar in particular. At the moment I work as (fair fashion) photographer.

Since I know pretty well how it is to be stranded in a foreign city, I always try to help, so feel free to contact me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing after my sister and my friends told me about it. (And since Hospitalityclub is not so active anymore.)
I think it is a good way to travel, and a wonderful platform to find the nicest people on earth. I am always curious about travel stories and like to share my own of course.

I have used Couchsurfing for a couple of times already. Haha, but meanwhile maybe more "unofficially" than through this website. I usually try to stay with friends who I met on my trips. But Couchsurfing is also a good way to give something back. That's why I'm here.
