ABOUT ME

I am a student from Germany who currently spends a semester in Raleigh, NC at the NC State University.
Soon the semester ends and I want to visit as many nice places in the US as possible until I return to Germany.

PHILOSOPHY

I think my personal desire is to experience as much as I can in this life and I hope that after finishing my studies I can contribute to a better world with a profession which gives me the opportunity to create helpful technology. Thats why I have chosen EE as my major.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a student I have a limited budget of course and I hope to find nice people who can help me by letting me stay in their places. From 17th to 28th my friend Bo will accompany me. After that I am not sure yet who is going to join me on my journey.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experience yet but some of my friends tried out CS this year in Chicago and I met their hosts as well. They were very nice and my friends enjoyed the time very much so I am curious about using CS as well. First I could not believe that people really offer a place in their house or apartment for free but obviously there are some generous and nice people here.

Interests

My friends, Sports, Travelling, technical devices (I am Electrical Engineering major and its also my hobby to repair or modify them).

Music, Movies, and Books

There are too many movies I like. And also in music I have no genre which I absolutely prefer. It always depends on my mood which music I listen to. All I can say is that I like Classic, Electro, R&B, HipHop, Newmetal and Rock.
To be honest, besides my textbooks I haven't read books since a long time *shameonme*

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year I think I found the sky covered with stars in the Smoky Mountains (NC) pretty amazing. I never saw so many stars before.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you German and how to repair certain cell phones and other electrical devices :)
Learning is always good, teach me whatever you know!
