ABOUT ME

I am a college student studying Tourism Management. In my spare time, I sail my 27' Helms or try my hand at do-it-yourself home improvements. I am constantly itching to travel, and never want to see dust on my boots. I am in Columbia, SC until I finish school, then it's wherever the wind takes me.

UPDATE: I manage a marina/boating school in Miami, FL and teach sailing.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to mesmerize my brain with sights I've never seen, sounds I've never heard, flavors I've never tasted, scents I've never smelled, and sensations I've never felt.

I've met several couchsurfers at meetings in Bangkok, Istanbul, Prague, and Paris. I surfed in Paris, which was fantastic, and have hosted surfers in my home in Columbia, SC, USA.

My favorite movies and books are generally sci-fi oriented such as Star Wars, or the Ender's Game series. I also enjoy classic films with actors James Stewart and Humphrey Bogart. My favorite comedy is Shaun of the Dead.

I am a lover of all music, and can jam to just about anything.

I shook the hand of Pope John Paul II when I was 11.
