ABOUT ME

Hellooooo! I'm Gert from Belgium and I love travelling and meeting people from all over the world. And that was just the most cliché sentence I ever wrote. But hey, it's true! Unfortunately I can't have people over on my couch all the time, but sometimes I can. Anyone's who's in for a drink on their trip to Antwerp... Let me know. I'll show you around our beautiful medieval city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some great moments in Italy, when I couchsurfed for a couple of nights, always with other people! I enjoyed the local food, went to a reggae festival, impersonated as a sort of Roman magistrate in one of the most picturesque towns of Italy and got to know some very interesting and sympathetic people ^^
Canada was also amazing. I stayed with four hosts in the four biggest cities of the east of Canada, and had an amazing time with each one of them!
Other great couchsurf experience so far included Barcelona, Wroclaw, Malta, Budapest, Stockholm and the Languedoc/Provence region.

My interests are music, literature, writing (I'm an aspiring writer myself), travelling, organising poetry & music events, going out with friends, perform with the band, culture, etc.
