About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Visit all 50 states and all 7 continents before I turn 35.
ABOUT ME
My dayjob is a public school music teacher. I also dabble with teaching some marching bands and drum & bugle corps on the side. Recently my new hobby is "travel hacking," maximizing the cracks in the airlines and travel industry. In my travels, besides seeing some touristy things, I love being in the thick of things, to experience life like a local. Local food and drink is easily in the top 3 things I like to experience when visiting a new and foreign place. The other, if the location allows, is to go SCUBA diving. The weirder, more exotic, the better. I'm also an avid poker player.
PHILOSOPHY
Work to live, not live to work.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have so far only surfed, but when I move into my new place, I will start hosting.
Surfed:
Hannah Page (Frankfurt, Germany)
Thomas Kutsam (Salzburg, Austria)
Giulia Manca (Munich, Germany)
Derek Eaton (Billings, MT USA)
Eliza Morawska (Istanbul, Turkey)
Interests
I really love eating, especially new cultures' foods. Everything gets the good ol' college try, at least twice! For me, life experience is key. I want to see/do/eat everything the world has to offer. And what better way to do that than with other CSers.
