About Me
Because of my unsocial working-hours, I can occasionally host travellers.
🇲🇶🇫🇷🇨🇦
Ever since I was a child, I was raised in such “Natural” way that has since sort of set me free, thus, I've kept those inner traits of character within, even though I am slightly introverted towards it at times. However I’m often glad to welcome all sorts of guests, including the ones with that free body culture's openness, among others. I would be very pleased if I could host you. That free body culture also puts everyone at the same level, somehow, which I believe is great.
Peaceful and flexible to embrace diverse communities, any wanderlust, is welcome.
My first-ever guest on this platform was the most Natural yogi, farmer and scout ever met. Such a pure soul he is.
I enjoy diverse pastimes that I find resourceful and providing me with unwinding delights. Even though I need lone-time moments, sharing some time together would be as enjoyable too.
Looking back in time, access to my natural neighborhoods was often an adventurous and personal game needed. Hiking, cycling, wild camping or wandering, skinny-dipping, equestrian disciplines and sports, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, dog-sledding to name a few, still make me flirt quite well with Nature, during which I could observe fauna and enjoy flora around, particularly when retreating out of town. Also, my "Frei-Körper-Kultur" background can mingle well with some of those. That is certainly one of my ways of being.
Freedom is what it is, and respect is another thing that I also commit to.
I occasionally mountain-climbed, back in time, which was cool. I slightly embraced skateboarding lately, and that is also fun but, since I have badly injured myself a few years back, I paused on that. I could still take you to the most cosmopolitan SK8-park in town, or perhaps to the nearest one. Well, ye guess that London has its hidden gems, right?!..
Even though I'm fond of wildlife and pets, none are actually allowed under my roof here.
..Loving wildlife. Cherry on a cake, I am so fascinated by one of the largest carnivores on Earth.
Yours to guess what majestic beauty is that. I have yet given ye a big clue...
Relatives and Friends of mine, even at a distance, They mean a lot to me. Meanwhile, I keep this circle very condensed (especially as people in general care off) and cherished, and that unequal fondness even got to my Mum that my Friends and I also are Family, in a sense.
Human values : what a beautiful thing that my Parents taught me when I rose, and I am so grateful to Them for having instilled this in me too. Ever since my tender age, I was always taught to feel happy and privileged with the smallest quantity of whatever we had to share between us kids, but with pals also and even strangers, even though we merely had nothing but humanity to share. Well, this is a good glimpse of what my "wealth" is made of. My richness is nothing about money or materialism, and I am glad about it.
Needless to be afraid of words, let us talk, let our true colors shine on us, and let us share. We’re all conceived the same way, fortunately with differences, but all humans. We are Humanity. So...
Let's do it: "Spread Love, bapp-taath-lah!" (Take6).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
..Best of all because my Parents were often hosting when I was a child, and then I just love the fact of having different People around. I like this concept, and am pleased to offer a place to crash on to fellow travellers who need it, if I can host. I mostly host, but occasionally am a potential guest too.
Like those Friends of mine, I also merely need Global Communities, in a way. Of course, linking with worldwide travelers always brings a little zest of the unaccessible world along. Getting to converse with locals is equally a good way of discovering surroundings when abroad, likewise with guests. Culturally, it is better, if time allows, to stay at hosts and share with them, rather than being in a hotel room, watching a TV screen, I believe. That's richer to exchange between us who live differently, this way we learn and discover more layers of the World, that leaves us with precious vibes.
Ever since I was a child, my Parents often *opened their house to foreigners, as to our friends, which was a great and generous thing to do. I recall my fascination with the geographical origins of foreigners, their different gears and styles, thus their appearance and unknown lifestyles to me. *That part of my most Beloved People on Earth would never leave me, and once more, I am so grateful and happy to get to discover new cultures through my travels, so well as through my guests and hosts, thanks to Them both my Mum and Dad. ..Them first!
I have met some truly exceptional human beings, myself most of the time hosting. I have got to say that a very few of my fellow surfers here became Friends of mine. So precious and cherished friendships now! Here, is also the opportunity to travel and discover distant lands (anything out of sight could be distant) and their hoods from a local’s eyesight (either as a host or a guest, because places evolve), then again, for getting immersed into anything positive about adventures and trips. For the love of traveling, the unknown boundaries and links between us all, and also the pure beauty of Unity, harmony, and many other ways.
Interests
..Amongst so many others, I am fascinated by yoga in harmony with Nature and I love a break from the concrete jungle, then spending time in Nature.
Ever since I was a child, I have loved doing scale-modeling and created my toys, such as cars and other vehicles, houses, and animals, from paper sheets, which I now consider as crafts. ..In my view, that passion and love for Arts and corporal expression escalates from Calligraphy, Books, Scale-modelling, Drawings/Sketches, and Silver film Photography, up to Music and Lyrics, Voices, but also Classical and Philharmonic Orchestras, Piano, Violin, Guitar, Theatre, the Movie Industry, Writing, Ballet Dancing, the Helicopter Industry (within the Aviation should I say), Wildlife, Nature, falconry, horses, only for mentioning a bunch of them at a glimpse. Feeling like embracing my freedom whenever and wherever I can, as feeling great is important.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am really eclectic and enjoy very diverse types or categories of music, as to the World, like Punk, Traditional, Native, Classical, Blues, Motown, Vocals, Tribal, etc.
"The Hunt", a film by Thomas Vinterberg, is such a powerful masterpiece to view. "La Amistad" by Steven Spielberg is another bright movie that I have appreciated and whose messages were harsh but undeniable.
Most recently, "Closer": a very sad but beautiful reflection on the acceptance and rejection of the other and the harm that it whole can involve.
Documentary movies remain my favourite things in Film.
David McKenna wrote it, John Morrissey produced it, then Tony Kaye directed it: "American History X" was a great production on a very sensible subject, decades back, that worths a screening.
Now, if you have a passion for cooking, especially French food, and love the literary French tongue, I can only recommend you to screen "The Taste of Things".
That's a marvel of linguistics melted in culinary arts!..
I have also a fanciness for writing and reading. An Aviation, Nature, or Destinations magazine is often beside me at work, in case I meet unforeseen long waiting times, stuck somewhere between two locations...
I truly enjoy reading Richard Munson. His book and way of writing about Nikola Tesla’s life is so captivating and I do recommend his masterpieces.
Dostoyevsky is in a sense another great writer!..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My severe Winters in Canada brought me to open my home to some homeless People around, as only wandering through town heading to work in between -39*C and -45*C temperatures (that has not been the coldest ones that I lived in), for only beginning the day, was a little tough good morning...
So I figured out that some of those people with nowhere to go and find a bit of warmth would appreciate once or twice a warm place to stay for a bit of sleep overnight, out of the snow and icy weather. And that has taught me so much. Yep!.. By only doing this.
I always cherished that, as some of my best and kindest souvenirs.
Witnessing the Boreal Auroras in person while in the Arctic Manitoba, Canadian North Pole, was another phenomenal repetitive beauty, in plus of the Polar Bears appeal and packs of Wolves, and then being able to walk on the Artic Sea!..
Teach, Learn, Share
Always glad to learn something new, any day at whatever moment!.. I would love to get fully involved in Natural Yoga, someday. I self-learn some of my interests too.
I could eventfully teach English, French, and Kréol. I can speak a bit of Spanish and kept some Polish words lately. Some fellows tell me that I owe what it takes to teach a language... Well, I like to explain the logic of how grammatical terms work, if I can, especially if I teach English to a French speaker or French to an English speaker, using comparisons. I would love to learn Arabic, Polish, and Dutch, as well as German and Mandarin if I had all these opportunities.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Opened to conversations or reflections about any societal thing or else subject, the pleasure of doing some grocery and cooking a succulent meal, either baking or making other sorts of desserts, if I can, basically the same as with my guests, respect, honesty, consideration, encouragements, advice, general help with chores, but entertaining things also and companionship, let’s say something fun, board games, pleasant and memorable time together.
I would always be very pleased if I can prepare even one easy-tasty culinary set for my hosts during my stay, as they would offer me their place to stay. And to me, that dish would be one of my ways of being thankful, with my whole gratitude.
