About Me

I'm a Spanish student of German and Portuguese Philology, currently doing my Erasmus year in Göttingen, Germany. I love travelling and I'm a member of the European Student0s Forum (AEGEE), which has allowed me to travel a lot and to meet a lot of locals in the different cities where I've been.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and getting to know the locals, so Couchsurfing is just perfect! I'm currently doing my Erasmus year in Göttingen, Germany and I want to make the most of this year abroad an travel as much as I can. Sadly the Erasmus grant is not as great as it was a few years ago, so paying for accomodation is not ideal when you can stay with locals!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rock and alternative music. My current favourites are The Growlers, Courtney Barrnet and Él mató a un policía motorizado, just to say a few. I couldn't pick a movie as my favourite, not even a few, all I can say is that I love the Coen Brothers, Woody Allen and well, who doesn't like Trainspotting, American Beauty or Pulp Fiction? As for books, lately I've been interested in the classics and I've been reading some Ancient Greek tragedies by Sophocles and Euripides, which I'm loving. I also love Kafka and Camus and I think every teenager should read The Catcher in the Rye.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being a member of AEGEE has allowed me to have alot of wonderful experiences, and just to pick one I'd say one amazing thing I've done was to organise a Summer University. This is an event in which around 25 students from all over Europe came to my region (beautiful Asturias) to get to know the culture and to spend two amazing weeks with other students, visiting and partying all the time.

What I Can Share with Hosts
