About Me

Well, I find myself open-minded and optimistic. Usually, I prefer staying home over partying (unless it is a party with my close friends). I'm a PhD candidate at the University of Warsaw (Atmospheric Physics) and I find it great! I like to dig deep into understanding the Universe via the language of math. I understand that for other people math is a nightmare though :) If there is an opportunity to build something or carry out an experiment I'm always a volunteer. I'm also working as a graphic designer from time to time. I design brandmarks, posters and a lot of other tiny projects. While creating I usually listen to music to "feel the flow of pure imagination". Because of that, I have explored many many genres of music. From Cryptex and Aero Chord to System of a Down and Disturbed. My hobbies are photography (documentary one) and learning stuff (I'm not using 'stuff' as a filler. I'm serious, I love to learn some useless facts or to explore branches of human knowledge). I believe CS is something more than 'spend a night for free'.com so to filter that kind of user I expect you to read my profile :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I'm interested mainly in exploring foreign cultures, landscapes can be beautiful but you can not have a proper conversation with them (for example about the history of a country they're in or local people's habits). I love to travel by hitchhiking and meet new people from other cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I prefer emotional, melancholy or subdued music over that with an optimistic messages. Also, music discussing complex social phenomena is my favourite. Among electronic music I prefer 'dark' over 'happy'. From my Spotify I can list the following ones:
Polish HH:
- Taco Hemingway
- O.S.T.R.
- PRO8L3M

Electronic:
- Czeluść
- SOKOS
- Da Vosk Docta

Movies:
Frankly, I'm more focused on the series now. I love:
- Better Call Saul (recently ended, great show)
- Rewatching Breaking Bad with my dear gf.
- Bojack Horseman
- Mr Robot
- DARK

Books:
I like to read science books a lot but I won't write their titles because they're too long. I prefer to read about the real world rather than the fictional one so my first choice is usually some documentaries.

If you have actually read my profile to this point and are still interested: Please start your message/request with "Hello my fellow physicist" :)
