About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Amtrak Rail Pass! I will be headed off on my next adventure 8/30 for a one month trip around the country via train. Starting in NYC I will be riding across the country to the free burning man event (Plan B) for labor day weekend (9/2-9/6). Then I will be riding the zephyr train back across Colorado landing in Denver. I've rented a car with a friend to explore for a week (9/8 - 9/15). After that I ride to Chicago for a big weekend that hosts riot fest and dead and company shows that weekend (9/16-9/20). The last major city on the trip I will be riding south to New Orleans for a few days to enjoy some great live music and festive vibes (9/21-9/24) Finishing up the trip with a long train ride back to the west coast.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On my second trip around the United States Couchsurfing made it happen. My hosts were the most amazing people, and showed me their city the best ways possible. It's hard to imagine how my travels would have been otherwise. ABQ Couchcrash 2012 sealed the deal and I knew this community was legit. Madison Couchcrash 2019 was also an amazing time...I wish I could host more, but I haven't been in a stable spot to try it out. One day I will pay it forward for sure!
