About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Settle in. For now..
ABOUT ME
After college I took a few months to backpack around Europe in Spain, Portugal, Germany, The Netherlands and France. I landed in Ireland where I lived and worked for one year. Since then, I've returned home to NYC.
I'm generally easy going and enjoy meeting new people. I am curious about the world around me and seek out opportunities to broaden my worldview and skill set.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've mainly used CS in the past to meet people while studying abroad in Argentina and traveling through Europe. While I enjoy a less transient life these days, I'm still interested in taking smaller trips and I find Couchsurfing to be a rewarding and affordable way to do so.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed a few times and have had mainly really positive experiences. I've found it to be an incredible way to get to the heart of the place your visiting and connect with a diverse, compassionate group of people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I'm sort of a 'that girl' when it comes to not knowing movies, but I'm always down for watching one.
Music: Yelle, Mumford & Sons, Iron & Wine, Beyonce, James Taylor, Bon Iver, Feist, Adele, GirlTalk
Books: The Way of the Peaceful Warrior, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, The Bell Jar
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I participated in the Scandinavian regional of Burning Man back in 2012. It took some getting used to, but after the first couple of days I found myself feeling so lucky to be a part of such an event. For anyone unfamiliar with Burning Man, it's a very organic festival where anything goes, but generally adheres to these ten principles: http://www.burningman.com/whatisburningman/about_burningman/principles.html
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you dance! I've studied many different forms including ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, salsa and a little ballroom.
I can also teach you some basic Spanish and German :) Both are a little rusty, but we can practice together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking and really enjoy making people happy with good food. I can't promise gourmet, but I can definitely deliver on a tasty, home-cooked meal with good conversation.
Countries I’ve Visited
