ABOUT ME

I love to travel, and currently have an obsession with Spain and particularly the Camino de Santiago, which my husband and I are planning on walking for the second time in the fall. While at home, I run a nanny agency, cook, read Paolo Coehlo, and Russian authors, sing opera and hike.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Fearless Vampire Killers, or Pardon me but your teeth are in my neck is definitely one of my favorite movies, but also L'Auberge Espagnole, or the Spanish Apartment. As far as books go, I LOVE LOVE LOVE to read.I just finished the 7th Harry Potter--I won't give anything away, but man, its good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked the Camino de Santiago! Circa 760 km and beautiful 5 weeks across Spain. There were so many amazing things, but one I remember is walking across a very hilly area, it was a windy day and a little chilly. This old man was sitting on the side of a hill, with a little transistor radio, making little dolls out of grass. He invited us to sit next to him, and we embarked on a conversation, with him not knowing english or german and us only having a very elementary understanding of spanish. It was a great moment.
