My idea of couchsurfing is pure and simple: GOODWILL! I just wanna keep it as simple as it is. To me, couchsurfing is not about saving money on accomodation. It's all about cultural exchange, meeting friends from around the world, learning from each other and viewing life from various perspectives.

In this poisoned world we are living in, I sometimes wonder why people have to be nasty to each other. Are we slowly losing our humanity in the process of "civilization"? I wanna prove that compassion and kindness are all around us. We can treat each other just as nice without expecting any tangible gain. This is my idea of couchsurfing.

In early 2015, I felt very strongly that I was so over the corporate culture and politics. Therefore I made one of the most important decisions in my life to forgo my career and all the material things to travel for a year. I wanna travel as long as I can, maybe until money runs out. During my travels, I wanna meet people with different background, culture, social status etc. I wanna truly embrace diversities! At the same time, I wanna truly understand myself, my potential and discover what matters the most in life.

At the end of my travels, I am hoping to start a small business that's tied closely to social enterprise. I believe in giving back to society.
