I was born in Tehran, Iran and lived in The Netherlands since the 90's. Before setteling in The Netherlands my parents and I have lived all over the world. In 2010 I met my boyfriend Faouzi who is from Morocco and we've been living together for 9 years in Rotterdam. We quit our jobs in 2019 (me as a parttime teacher, nanny and receptionist and Faouzi as a personal trainer) and are currently traveling through South East Asia. We are both vegan for over 3 years and love all animals and good food 😁

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to take our travels to a new level. We have met a lot of great people along our journey and we are looking forward to meeting more great people so we want to try couchsurfing for ourself now.
As we are currently travelling we are not able to receive any guests.

Music, Movies, and Books

Quite hard to describe our musical taste as it goes from hiphop to jazz to reggae, drum and bass. Our playlist is either too happy, too relaxed or too hood. . I guess it depends on what mood we're in. But i have to say Erykah Badu makes my soul smile.
We have watched a LOT of movies from a wide range of genres wich I will not bore you with now but we can always talk movies when we meet up. We enjoy books about art, history in general, educational books, poetry, thrillers and novels. One of my favorite writers is Paulo Coelho (The Alchemist), Faouzi enjoys Dan Brown and Jules Verne books (80 days around the world).

Quit our jobs (with hardly any money) and survived now currently traveling through South East Asia.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share great stories, good food (i am a good cook and Faouzi can teach you a lot about biology and is a great gym buddy). We could also teach you Farsi and share some delicious recipes and hunt rare fruits.
