My mission when travelling is to meet new people, make new friends, and make memories!

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in New Mexico (The Land of Enchantment). I love the outdoors, soccer, basketball, tennis, golf, and football. Graduated from the University of Redlands in Southern California in 2012 and moved to China to teach English and study Mandarin for 2 years. Since returning to the US I have been spending my winters in the snow skiing and snowboarding and my summers in beautiful national parks.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to live life to the fullest everyday and to find happiness in doing it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just recently heard about couch surfing and am really excited to experience it. It sounds like a great concept and an amazing community that I am looking forward to joining.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While studying abroad in Austria, I was able to surf in several places around Europe and had great experiences! I have not had the opportunity to host yet, but I love the couch surfing concept and would love to share my valuable knowledge with anyone looking to visit New Mexico!

I have attended the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Utah, Skied in Colorado, Surfed in Costa Rica, Wake-boarded in Denmark, Played in the Gothia Cup (Largest youth soccer tournament in the world) in Sweden, Was stabbed in Brussels, Bruised in Berlin, Stung by a Jellyfish in Italy, and have made people smile around the globe.

Taught English in China for 2 years and would be happy to help anyone currently studying English. In addition, I studied a year of Mandarin in Shanghai and would love the opportunity to converse in Mandarin.
